Book Signing Ceremony for "The Art of Negotiation and Conflict Resolution"

Under the patronage and in the presence of the Director of the Office of Speaker Nabih Berri, MP Hani Qubaisi, and at the invitation of the Lebanese Writers' Union,
a book signing ceremony was held today, Saturday, February 7, 2026,
at the Kamel Youssef Jaber Cultural and Social Center in Nabatieh for
"The Art of Negotiation and Conflict Resolution" by author Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Qanso.
The event served as a cultural occasion that included a discussion on the concepts of
negotiation and methods of conflict resolution, with the participation of a number of
cultural figures and interested individuals.

Health Day

 

As part of its social and humanitarian role, the Kamel Youssef Jaber Cultural and Social Center in Nabatieh organized a health day that included free medical checkups for children
aged 4 to 12 years, in a step aimed at promoting health and preventative care for children.
This initiative came in cooperation with the Department of Otolaryngology and its Surgery,
under the supervision of Dr. Raed Rateel, and the Specialized Ophthalmology Center,
under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Muqaddam, in addition to the Yammout Hearing Center, where accurate medical examinations were conducted, including hearing, vision, and the upper respiratory system.These activities are part of a series of initiatives that the center is keen to organize, affirming its humanitarian and social mission to serve the local community, especially children (25-1-2026)

NUMU Platform Launch Ceremony

 

The Minister of Displaced Persons and Minister of State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence, Kamal Shehadeh, sponsored the launch ceremony of the NUMU National Digital Training Platform, which aims to enhance empowerment and employment opportunities for youth and communities.The local organization, in partnership with the Kamel Youssef Jaber Cultural Center in Nabatieh and the Digital Opportunities Foundation dot Lebanon, held a workshop in the center's hall in the presence of Shehadeh,
the center's director Jihad Jaber, the foundation's general manager Dunia Bassil,
and the participants in the digital course.
 

Honoring the Champions of 2025

Under the patronage of the President of the Nabatieh and Surrounding Areas Merchants Association,Hajj Muhammad Barakat Jaber, and under the supervision of the Lebanese Kyokushinkai Federation,represented by Shihan Ibrahim Kamal,the President of Al-Reef Club - Nabatieh, in cooperation with the Kamel Youssef Jaber Cultural and Social Center in Nabatieh, organized an honoring ceremony for the champions of 2025.


 

A book titled "The History of Abba 1860-2017" by researcher Dr. Ahmed Haroun

At the invitation of Dar Al-Walaa Publishing House and under the auspices of the Abba Municipality, a book signing ceremony was held at the Kamel Youssef Jaber Cultural and Social Center for the book "The History of Abba 1860-2017" by researcher Dr. Ahmed Haroun. The ceremony was presented by Mr. Abbas Khalil Tarhini.The event began with the national anthem. A speech was then given by the patron of the event, the Mayor of Abba, Mr. Muhammad Hussein Tarhini. A speech was also given by the book's publisher, Mr. Hussein Khalifa, and a speech by the researcher, Dr. Ahmad Haroun. Dr. Jihad Bannout presented the book, and attendees signed copies.
