Institutions 2030
The Ministry of State for Administrative Development,
in cooperation with the Nabatieh Governorate,
organized extensive consultative meetings and roundtable
discussions within the project
"Restructuring State Administrations and Institutions
2030:
Towards a New Social Contract between Citizens and the
Administration."
The aim was to enhance local participation and involve
the broadest possible number
of citizens in shaping the administrative reform
process. Two separate meetings were held.
A contract was signed with the heads of municipal unions
and municipalities, and with the heads of
official departments and administrations at the Kamel
Youssef Jaber Cultural Center in Nabatieh,
in the presence of the Minister of State for
Administrative Development Affairs, Fadi Makki.
The Ministry's working team, along with Nabatieh
Governor Howayda Turk, listened to the participants'
aspirations and visions for the role of local
administrations within the framework of
decentralization. Ways to enhance the effectiveness of
local authorities and enable them to fulfill
theirdevelopment and service roles were also discussed.
Open Meeting
An open meeting was held in the hall of the Kamel
Youssef Jaber Cultural and Social Center in Nabatieh, at
the invitation of the Lebanese Armed Forces Veterans
Association and the Military Retirees Association, with
the Association's President, Brigadier General Chamel
Roukoz, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

Governorate
In the hall of the Kamel Youssef Jaber Cultural and

Traders Cooperative Organization, the Sons of the
Country Interactive Group honored outstanding students
in Nabatieh Governorate in both academic and vocational

The grand celebration honoring the
martyred media personnel
Under the patronage of His Excellency MP Hajj Hani
Qabisi, and in cooperation with the Nabatieh and
Neighborhood Traders Organizational Association, the
Cultural Movement organized a grand tribute to the
martyred media professionals, held in the Kamel Youssef
Jaber Cultural and Social Center Hall in Nabatieh, on
August 22, 2025.
Honoring Ceremony for Top Achievers
A ceremony honoring top achievers in the secondary
school certificate (official exams)
for the 2024-2025 academic year, organized by the
Distinguished Giving Honor Committee in
cooperation and coordination with the Nabatieh
Governorate, the Nabatieh Educational District,
and the Nabatieh Municipality,at the Kamel Youssef Jaber
Social and Cultural Center - Nabatieh on August 22, 2025
Book launch ceremony for "Nabatieh
Before and After the Aggression"
Finance Minister Yassine Jaber sponsored the book
launch ceremony for "Nabatieh Before
and After the Aggression and the Lost Architectural
Heritage" by researcher Ali Hussein Mazraani.
The ceremony was held at the Kamel Youssef Jaber
Cultural and Social Center in Nabatieh.
The event was attended by Minister Jaber, MP Hani
Qabisi's representative,
Dr. Muhammad Qanso; President of the Al-Zein Association
in Lebanon, Mr. Saad Al-Zein; Mayor of Zebdine,Ali Saad;
educational and social figures; university, high school,
and school directors; and interested parties. After the
national anthem, and a welcome and
introduction by Professor Haidar Badreddine, university
professor Mashhour Mustafa delivered a speech.The
Chairman of the Nabatieh Traders' Organizational
Association, Hajj Muhammad Jaber, spoke, followed by a
speech by the event's sponsor, Minister Jaber. Mazraani
then presented a copy of his new publication to Minister
Jaber, who in turn presented him with a plaque of
appreciation on
behalf of the Kamel Youssef Jaber Cultural and Social
Center. Mazraani then signed his book
for Jaber and the attendees on Sunday, August 10, 2025.

Minister of Agriculture Dr. Nizar Hani
Minister of Agriculture Dr. Nizar Hani sponsored the
celebration organized by the Ministry to launch mobile
units for registering farmers
and providing cash assistance in southern Lebanon. The
celebration, funded by the European Union,
was held at the Kamel Youssef Jaber Cultural and Social
Center in Nabatieh. The ceremony
was attended by Minister Hani,
Lawyer Jihad Jaber, representing the Minister of
Finance, Yassin Jaber;
EU Ambassador Sandra de Waale; World Food Programme (WFP)
Director Matthew Hollingworth;
Acting
FAO Representative in Lebanon, Veronica Quatrola;
and the Head of the Agriculture Department in Nabatieh

closing ceremony of the
“Young Innovators” festival will take place on

Ramadan Festival
Under the patronage of His Excellency Minister Yassin
Jaber,
the Nabatieh Merchants Association organized the Ramadan
Shopping Festival.
The festival concluded with the distribution of gifts
presented
by the Kamel Youssef Jaber Cultural and Social Center in
Nabatieh
to the winners of the lottery at the center. The
ceremony was attended by the center's director,
Attorney Jihad Jaber, the head of the Nabatieh Merchants
Association, Mr. Musa Shmeisani,
and members of the association's administrative body.
The gifts included:
(two refrigerators, a 7 kg washing machine, a 5-burner
gas stove, two Hoovers,
two 43-inch televisions, two blenders,
and two irons)
on Tuesday,
April 8, 2025.
Eid al-Fitr
On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, the Kamel Youssef
Jaber Cultural and Social Center in Nabatieh organized a
Russian circus show for children on Monday, March 31,
2025.
Al-Alam Hassan Kamel Al-Sabah Official
High School in Nabatieh
Al-Alam Hassan Kamel Al-Sabah Official High School in
Nabatieh, in partnership with
Kamel Yousef Jaber Cultural and Social Center, honored
the educational and administrative
staff at the high school on the occasion of Teacher’s
Day. A luncheon was held in their
honor at Totango Shaqif Restaurant, in the presence of
the center’s director, lawyer Jihad Jaber, the high
school’s director, Mr. Abbas Shmeisani, the general
supervisor, Mr. Mohammad Hussein Muallem, the head of
the parents’committee, Mr. Ali Kamal, and the honored
teachers. The ceremony began with the Lebanese national
anthem and a minute of silence for the souls of the
martyrs, followed by a presentation by Mr. Hassan
Shukroun, followed by a speech by the honored teachers
by Mrs. Susan Tafeili Rizk, then a speech by the high
school principal, Mr. Abbas Shmeisani, in which he
praised the efforts of the high school teachers who are
keen to keep it at the forefront and leadership,
recalling the bitter reality they are going through in
addition to the brutal war that
has increased their suffering, especially after a
significant number of teachers were martyred.
The ceremony concluded with a poem inspired by the
occasion by the poet Mr. Muhammad Hussein Muallem, which
preceded the distribution of appreciation shields to the
